The Pickle makes Maxim’s top ten Food Truck list!
Andy Grimes has catered everything from the 420 Festival to concerts by the Allman Brothers Band. Having cut his teeth in restaurants across the Southeast, Grimes purchased this vintage motor home in 2004. Converted, retrofitted, and painted a fetching pale green, “It’s super user-friendly,” he boasts. The menu sweeps through the South, with Tex-Mex dishes such as chicken and green chili, and Creole treats like crawfish étouffée. “It’s less street cuisine, more restaurant,” Grimes explains. And paradise if you’ve got the munchies.

Summer is almost gone!
It has been a hot busy summer in Pickleland. We’ve met lots of new folks, participated in a bunch of fun events, and cooked tons of delicious food. We also been gardening up a storm. Hopefully you’ve been able to enjoy the fruits of the garden on one of our many specials we’ve been running during the summer.
Looking to the fall we expect more of the same. As the tomatoes wind down look for the bounty of the garden to come from a pickling jar. Relish, sour dill and sweet cucumbers, chiles, okra, sweet banana peppers will all be making an appearance on the menu in coming weeks.
Atlanta Summer Beer Fest
We will be at Atlanta Summer Beer Fest Sat night 5-10p at Masquerade Music Park. Sure to be a blast!
